The Young IAPT Service is a pilot project that offers timely psychological assessment and interventions for young people with mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
The project is not intended to replace existing services, but to complement those that already exist.
The service is being run in a number of surgeries in Cambridgeshire.
Types of difficulties appropriate for this service:
Mild to moderate depression
Mild to moderate anxiety
Deliberate self-harm
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
Mild eating problems
Mild to moderate post-traumatic stress disorder

Inpatient acute care service for adults.
This service is normally accessed via your General Practitioner (GP). Acer Ward is a 20-bed acute admission unit located at Hinchingbrooke Hospital. Special facilities include an intensive care area, an ECT suite. The accommodation is of a high quality and in domestic style. The ward multi-disciplinary team works closely with the community mental health teams, Park House Day Service and the IST.
The Acer Ward team also works closely with DASH (drug and alcohol team) to provide detoxification admissions and day assessments for medication tolerance. The ward also has a crisis resolution treatment team.

The ADDventure Within Adult ADHD Support group meets every other Monday of the month, from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM. We offer a free short lecture on a relevant ADHD topic with question and answer time, followed by light snacks, tea, coffee, and social hour. We meet at VoiceAbility, on the ground floor of the building. You will have to ring the bell at one of two entrances (Huntingdon Road or via the car park). There is a car park in the back - please park in one of the bays that does not have a designated company name by it, or in the visitors bays. We will need to buzz you in at the entrance, so please let us know you are attending!
ADDventure Within is a coaching and support service for adults with ADD and ADHD. It provides 1-to-1 coaching, a bi-weekly support group, education, and skills training specifically targeted at issues for the symptoms of ADHD. Arts psychotherapies provide a better quality of life for older people. Arts psychotherapies in CPFT include art psychotherapy, music therapy and dance movement therapy. These modalities allow greater possibilities for communication either through art, movement or music.
Arts psychotherapies can have a profound impact when they reveal communication skills in older people suffering from dementia. The regular sessions can provide disoriented patients with a sense of containment, consistency and recognition.
Arts psychotherapies help patients explore difficult and painful feelings both verb
