Drolma Buddhist centre in Dogsthorpe Road, Peterborough runs meditation classes at the Centre itself as well as various venues around the county. Also held at the centre are day courses and retreats on buddhist practice.
We are available for school/organisation visits, meditation/info sessions at your venue and general Kadampa buddhist community chaplaincy services.
There are occassionally rooms for rent at the Centre - please call to discuss and/or express your interest.

The Peacehaven International Playgroup (PIP) invite you to join us for weekly afterschool art club and children’s playgroup. PIP is intended for children ages (0-12 years) and parents/carers. All nationalities are welcome.
We meet on Wednesdays from 3:30 to 5:00 pm, except for school holidays. Entry fee is one pound per family session. The Afterschool art club caters to children ages 6 to 12 and the entry fee for art students is one pound per session.

The outcome will give mutual help and support when settling down in their new life in the Cambourne Community without exclusion of race, creed or political orientation.
To harness the cultural roots of the members, in the belief, that in that way it will be a positive effort towards the mutual understanding of the many different nationalities.

• Encourage children to use their own ideas and to have the freedom to explore their own creativity.
• Show children many different ways of working, introduce them to different artists, art forms and new mediums.

F.O.W.L is a group of volunteers who support our local library with a view to playing an important role in Warboys library's development.
Although we function independently of the Library Service, we work closely with library staff to achieve this goal. Aims of the Friends of Warboys Library.
• To promote and encourage the use of the Library and it’s development.
• To assist and support the Library staff in making the facilities relevant.
• To raise funds to ensure the survival of the Library.
The group run events in the library when the Library is closed. The group also holds a regular Saturday morning coffee session at Library from 10.30am to 12 noon, everyone welcome to drop in.
Why not have a cup of tea/coffee while you browse on Saturday morning!

Cambridge City Foodbank is a local charity that provides food parcels to those in need in the city via organisations such as the Citizens Advice Bureau and health visitors who can sign out vouchers to those in need. A voucher can be used to gain access to a food parcel with 3 days worth of food.
